Interesting and informative withouse being verbose. I would like to put a link to it from the homepage of the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD) and would appreciate it if MPRI would do the same.

Wish I had your expertize. Sure could make use of it in the mountains around Mexico City (2600 to 3900m altitude) and up to 12 tonnes erosion/year in some areas. Greetings. I might return.

A really interesting web site. I am involved in trail maintenance on the Bruce Trail here in Ontario, Canada. Is there an equivalent organization to yours in Canada or does the "international" in your name infer that you cover this side of the pond from the UK? Maybe we have some points of interest to discuss!

Good to see another mountain path website in the UK. Are you willing to disclose the locations of the Hall of Shame!?! How about a Hall of Shining Example - we can recommend a few sites in the Highlands that you may want to include. Visit us at www.footpath.demon.co.uk

Very interesting. I intend to download as soon as I have time. I have worked in Tanzania too and observed similar problems in a number of other mountainous countries. e.g Ethiopia, Lesotho.
